Bright cells are accents, dim ones are ghost notes. Each row is a pad; each column is a 16th note.

What you'll play

A groove bar, then two beats of fast snare singles. Bar 1 is a plain backbeat groove with a crash on 1. Bar 2: half a bar of groove, then eight 16th snares on beats 3 and 4. Alternate right index and right middle on the snare pad for those eight.

Tip: Small finger moves. Keep the wrist still.

Hear it first

Every snare in the run should sound the same.

Play it clean

Slow, faster, slow again. Warm up first by tapping on the table. Pass with 85% as the tempo goes 70 → 85 → 70 BPM.
